MedQuest Solutions CEO, Jacque Butler
Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2010 Award Winner in the Utah Region

Award Recognizes Entrepreneurial Excellence in Health Sciences Category

Salt Lake City, Utah, June 2, 2010 – Today, MedQuest Solutions announced that Jacque Butler, CEO received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2010 Award in the health sciences category in the Utah Region.  According to Ernst & Young LLP, the award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses.  Jacque Butler, PhD. was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a gala event at the Salt Palace Convention Center on June 2, 2010.

“I dedicate this award to my father who was a great man and an accomplished entrepreneur who taught me everything I know,” says Butler.  “After my father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, I sought to find something that could help him.  There was a definite void in the healthcare industry and a need to provide quality healthcare services to practitioners with a wellness approach to medicine.  That led to the development of MedQuest Solutions.”

MedQuest Solutions, based in Salt Lake City, provides physicians and patients with pharmaceutical services, lab work and supplement manufacturing.  Its physician services also include CME-accredited courses and a software system with electronic medical records and e-subscribe.  MedQuest also specializes in bio identical hormone replacement therapy.

Butler earned a Ph.D. in nutrition from Madison University, an M.S. in speech therapy and audiology from the University of Utah and a B.A. in business from Brigham Young University.

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards celebrate their 24th anniversary this year.  The program honors entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exceptionality in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

As a Utah Region award winner, Dr. Butler is now eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year 2010 national program.  Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 13, 2010.  The awards are the culminating event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
